Iberdrola has agreed to acquire a 40MW wind power plant in Basilicata, Italy from Belenergia and RGREEN INVEST.
The asset was commissioned in 2018 and benefits from a long-term incentive scheme that guarantees stable cash flows, Iberdrola said.

The deal will bring Iberdrola’s installed renewable capacity in Italy to around 450MW, the company added.
The project is located near the Lucania Complex, where Iberdrola is developing assets including the 20MW Montelungo PV plant under construction.
The acquisition builds on the Etruria Complex with 174MW and the 243MW Fenix solar photovoltaic project.
The transaction remains subject to customary closing conditions.
