Siemens Gamesa reported a €44m loss before special items in the second quarter of fiscal year 2026, improving from a €249m deficit in the same period a year earlier.
Siemens Energy said the wind unit recorded a margin of negative 1.7% while orders reached €846m and revenue totalled €2.5bn in the quarter.
The group expects Siemens Gamesa to deliver comparable revenue growth of 3% to 5% in fiscal year 2026, with profit before special items hitting break-even.
Siemens Energy raised its full-year outlook following what it described as positive business development in the first half of the year and strong market demand for gas turbines and power equipment.
The company now expects comparable revenue growth of 14% to 16% and a profit margin before special items of 10% to 12% for fiscal year 2026.
It forecasts net income of around €4bn and free cash flow pre tax of around €8bn.
In the second quarter, Siemens Energy reported orders of €17.7bn and revenue of €10.3bn, with profit before special items of €1.2bn and a margin of 11.3%.
