Reynard High Voltage Solutions has launched a ready-terminated high-voltage cable service, with factory-assembled and fully tested cable systems from 33 kV to 150 kV for dropper cables, tower cables, substation interconnections, and BESS park cabling.
The assemblies are built, tested, and warehoused in Reynard’s facility near Amsterdam, and will arrive on site terminated, electrically verified, and certified.
The offering removes the need specialist jointers, climate-controlled environments, and extended site access windows in the field, Reynard said in a release.
Reynard Managing Director Jonne Schortinghuis said: “Termination has always been done on site. Inside turbine towers, on substation yards, across BESS parks. It’s skilled, time-consuming work carried out under difficult conditions.
“We’ve moved that entire process into a factory setting where it’s faster, safer, and more consistent. Our clients receive cables that are ready to plug in.”
he service is aimed at EPC contractors, electrical infrastructure contractors, turbine OEMs, developers, and utility companies working on offshore wind, onshore substations, and battery energy storage projects worldwide.
