BNZ has unveiled a strategic roadmap centred on energy management and hybridisation supported by an 850MW battery storage pipeline.
The company said it will deploy 530MW of battery storage across Spain, Italy and Portugal in 2026–2027 as part of its shift towards an integrated energy platform.
BNZ added that the move marks its transition from a traditional developer to a strategic partner offering flexible energy solutions through multi-technology integration.
The company has a global portfolio exceeding 2.7GW spanning photovoltaic, wind and storage assets.
The short-term rollout includes 260MW in Spain, 210MW in Italy and 60MW in Portugal.
BNZ’s renewable base includes 1.6GW of photovoltaic capacity and 281MW of wind power.
The company said storage will enable it to improve flexibility and ensure a stable renewable energy supply across its portfolio.
The business is backed by Nuveen Infrastructure, supporting its long-term strategy and capital strength.
