Van Oord more than doubled its net profit to €110 million in 2025 on the back of a strong performance in its offshore wind unit Offshore Energy.
The company said EBITDA rose 139% to €403 million, while revenue increased to €2.6 billion from €2.4 billion in 2024.
Van Oord added that its Offshore Energy business recorded revenue of €1.5 billion, up from €1.1 billion the previous year.
The group delivered 213 projects across 36 countries and maintained an order book of €4.4 billion.
It contributed to renewable energy projects with a combined installed capacity of 3283MW during the year.
Chief executive Govert van Oord said: “The current situation in the world, especially in the Middle East, shows that 2026 could be even more volatile and uncertain than last year.
“Still, we are confident about the future.”
The company christened its offshore wind installation vessel Boreas, described as the largest and most sustainable of its kind.
Van Oord also invested in two next-generation flexible fallpipe vessels to strengthen its subsea rock installation capabilities.
It said geopolitical tensions and rising energy costs could affect the investment climate and global economy in the year ahead.
