Eurowind Energy acquires Connected Wind Services Denmark

Eurowind Energy has agreed to acquire Connected Wind Services Denmark from EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG, subject to regulatory approval.

Eurowind Energy said Connected Wind Services Denmark is the largest independent wind turbine service provider in Denmark, servicing around 1000 turbines and employing more than 100 staff.

The company added that Connected Wind Services Denmark generated revenue of approximately €25.5 million (DKK 191 million) in 2025 and has more than 35 years of experience in operations and maintenance.

Connected Wind Services Denmark provides maintenance, repairs and technical support across onshore and offshore wind as well as high voltage services, and operates a 24/7 monitoring centre.

The business will continue to operate under its current name as an independent company, with its existing management and organisation remaining in place.

Klaus Steen Mortensen will become chairman of the board of Connected Wind Services Denmark.

“This acquisition strengthens our position across the wind value chain. With Connected Wind Services Denmark, we gain strong technical expertise and a proven organisation that supports high availability and lifetime extension of wind assets,” said Jens Rasmussen, chief executive of Eurowind Energy.

“It is a natural step in expanding our operational capabilities in Denmark and Northern Europe.”

“We see this as a strong match. Eurowind Energy understands the wind industry and the importance of reliable operations and maintenance,” said Kent Hougaard, chief executive of Connected Wind Services Denmark.

“At the same time, it is important for us that Connected Wind Services Denmark continues as an independent company with the same management, employees and customer focus.”
