Sandra Dettmer (pictured) will join the management board of RWE Renewables Europe & Australia as chief operating officer from 1 April 2026.
The newly created role is intended to strengthen management focus on the growing number of onshore wind, solar and battery storage projects under construction and in operation across Europe and Australia, the company said.
Dettmer will be responsible for engineering, construction and operations of wind, solar and battery parks as well as health, safety and environment.
She will join chief executive officer Sopna Sury and chief financial officer Simon Bockmühl on the management board of RWE Renewables Europe & Australia.
Dettmer most recently served as director of construction at RWE Renewables Europe & Australia.
