Boskalis maintained earnings in what its chief executive said was an “extraordinary” year for the company.
The marine contractor recorded EBITDA of €1.3 billion for 2025, steady with the 2024 result.
Reported revenue was €4.5 billion, a slight rise from €4.4 billion in 2024.
The performance was driven by strong project execution in the Dredging & Inland Infra and Offshore Energy divisions and growth in Towage & Salvage following the acquisition of the remaining 50% share of Smit Lamnalco in late 2024.
“2025 was an extraordinary year for Boskalis in many respects,” said Theo Baartmans, chief executive of Boskalis.
“We also continue to make an important contribution to the global energy transition.”
Boskalis said it has now been involved in the development of 175 wind farms worldwide and installed foundation piles and cables for offshore wind farms in the US and Europe during 2025.
The company also transported and installed the DolWin 5 offshore converter platform supporting the German offshore wind farm Borkum Riffgrund 3.
Baartmans stated that the 2025 result was exceptional and would not be matched this year but the company remains cautiously positive about 2026 based on its order book.
He added that geopolitical tensions, trade restrictions and rising costs are affecting appetite for large infrastructure investments while recent developments in the Middle East are creating uncertainty for operations in the region.
