Vind AI has launched Solar & Battery, a digital platform designed to enable unified design and investment evaluation of co-located wind, solar and battery projects.
Vind AI said the platform integrates with its onshore wind system and allows developers to assess system design, yield and financial performance within a unified, automatically updated environment at project and portfolio level.
The company stated that Solar & Battery replaces siloed tools and spreadsheet models by automatically updating yield projections and financial outputs, including IRR and LCoE, when turbine layout, solar capacity or battery sizing are adjusted.
Solar & Battery is currently available to a closed group of partners, with early access for developers planned for the second quarter of 2026.
Helene Bøhler, CEO of Vind AI, said: “Hybrid parks introduce system-level complexity that traditional spreadsheet workflows were never designed to manage. By enabling wind, solar and battery to be assessed together in a collaborative, automatically updated platform, we give development leadership real-time financial clarity at the stage where it can still shape capital allocation.”
Anne Holm, project developer of Wind Estate A/S, said: “Nordic power markets are undergoing historic change, where widening price gaps, significant increase in volatility, and political uncertainty dominate. Renewable energy projects are not just about adding production capacity-they’re about optimising revenue streams and grid capacity, and reducing risks and lowering operational costs. The ability to evaluate hybrid projects with this complexity is a key focus for us to make smart, transparent decisions.”
