Iberdrola France has completed the sale of its onshore portfolio to French renewable energy group Technique Solaire.
The company said the assets include 118MW of operational wind capacity and a 639MW pipeline of onshore wind and solar PV.

It added that the transaction forms part of the Iberdrola Group’s strategy to focus investment on core businesses, mainly regulated networks or long-term contracted generation, and on key markets such as the United States and the United Kingdom.
This is the fifth transaction completed by Iberdrola this year following the sale of mini-hydro assets and the slurry business in Spain, the sale of Hungary and the addition of 650MW of solar power to its joint venture with Norges.
