The electricity will come from the 576MW project in the Irish Sea, which consists of 160 turbines commissioned in 2015.
RWE and Lidl already cooperate in Germany through a long-term deal signed in 2023 for the Kaskasi offshore wind farm from 2028 to 2038.
Lidl GB operates more than 1000 stores and 13 distribution centres and employs over 35,000 people across England, Scotland and Wales.
As part of Schwarz Group, Lidl runs around 12,600 stores and more than 230 logistics centres in 31 countries.
