Matrix Renewables has signed an EPC contract with Tesla for a 500MW/1GWh standalone battery energy storage system in Eccles, Scotland.

The deal will support the United Kingdom’s transition to a clean, secure and resilient power system, according to Bracewell.
The law firm advised Matrix on the negotiation and signing of the contract, added the company.
