D TRADING has signed a renewable power purchase agreement with EDP covering electricity supply in Romania.
The company said EDP will supply 200GWh per year from its Romanian renewable portfolio, providing stable and clean power for D.TRADING’s operations.
EDP stated the agreement supports decarbonisation efforts and strengthens protection against market volatility for the trading company.

Dudka added: “We appreciate EDP’s trust and look forward to creating further opportunities together”.
Andrei Rapeanu, country manager of EDP in Romania, said: “This agreement represents an important step for EDP in Romania, as it enables us to partner with a company that shares our commitment to clean and reliable energy.”
Rapeanu added: “This PPA underscores EDP’s ambition to maximizing the value of its high-quality renewable projects worldwide.”
EDP noted it has been active in Romania since 2008 and currently operates more than 570MW of wind and solar capacity in the country.
