Enfinity Global has closed an equity and development partnership with a European investor to complete the development and commissioning of a 486MW battery energy storage system in Italy.
Located in the Emilia Romagna region, the facility will provide 1,944MWh of storage capacity with a four-hour duration.
Under the agreement, Enfinity Global will lead the permitting process to support the project’s seamless deployment.
The company said the deal represents a new milestone in its capital formation strategy and strengthens its role in advancing Italy’s clean energy transition.
Enfinity Global’s Italian portfolio includes 2.6GW of solar and 5.3GW of storage projects, with 245MW already operational and 564MW under construction.
By combining large-scale storage with solar PV, the company aims to deliver reliable and cost-effective clean energy to enhance Italy’s industrial competitiveness and long-term sustainability.
