Nordex Group secured 2170MW of turbine orders in the third quarter of 2025, up 26% year on year, underscoring what it says is continued strong demand across its core markets in Europe and North America.
The orders, which exclude service contracts, bring total intake for the first nine months of 2025 to 6,661MW, compared with 5,083MW for the same period last year.
Between July and September, customers ordered 362 turbines for projects in 16 countries, with most demand coming from Germany and Canada.
Average sales prices rose slightly to €0.93m per megawatt in the third quarter, compared with €0.92m in the same period last year, reflecting stable pricing conditions influenced mainly by project scope and regional mix.
“After reporting strong order intake of over 2GW in each of the first two quarters of this year, the third quarter continued this very encouraging momentum, bringing total order intake to around 6.7GW for the first nine months,” said Nordex Group chief executive José Luis Blanco.
“This represents a strong performance and a year-on-year increase of more than 31%. We continue to remain very confident in our ability to sustain this positive trajectory also in the fourth quarter,” he said.
