Vestas has secured two new orders in Argentina totalling 217MW as part of its third-quarter intake for 2025.
The manufacturer will deliver eight V162 6.4MW turbines to a 186MW project in the country, which is due for delivery and commissioning in 2026. The contract includes a 25-year AOM5000 service agreement.

In addition, Vestas will supply five V162 6.2MW turbines for a 31MW scheme, also in Argentina. Delivery is expected in 2026, with commissioning scheduled for 2027. This project is covered by a 25-year AOM5000 service deal.
Both orders have been placed by undisclosed customers.
