Vestas has bagged an order to supply 94MW of turbines for German wind projects being developed by Energiekontor.
The Danish turbine manufacturer will supply 13 of its V162-7.2MW units for the Haberloh and Heidkrug wind farms in Lower Saxony.

Delivery of the turbines is expected to begin in the second quarter of 2027, with commissioning scheduled for the fourth quarter of the year.
The order, which forms part of Vestas’ Q3 intake, includes a 20-year service agreement.
