Foresight Solar Fund has agreed to sell its 50% interest in the 50MW Lunanhead battery storage project in Perthshire.
The asset, jointly owned with Foresight Environmental Infrastructure Fund, has been sold to a third-party buyer at a price in line with its June 2025 carrying value.

The transaction is expected to complete later this quarter.
Foresight Solar said it is also reviewing options for its 50% stake in the 50MW Clayfords project, including development, share buybacks or debt repayment.
Separately, the company confirmed that Sandridge BESS, a 50MW project in Wiltshire co-owned with FGEN, has been energised.
The site is undergoing final commissioning and testing ahead of commercial operations.
