Eneos Renewable Energy has partnered with Shoreline Wind to use its digital platform on offshore wind developments in Japan.
The system will be deployed across Eneos projects to support construction and operations, with a focus on tackling logistical challenges, weather risks, and supply chain constraints, the companies said.
An Eneos spokesperson said: “Shoreline’s platform will enable us to create more efficient and cost-effective strategies for construction and ongoing operations and maintenance across all of our projects.”
Shoreline founder and chief product officer Ole-Erik Endrerud said: “The Shoreline platform simplifies offshore wind farm operations, mitigating risk and uncovering efficiencies across the supply chain.”
Japan has set targets of 10GW of offshore wind by 2030 and 30–45GW by 2040 under its 7th Strategic Energy Plan.
Shoreline said more than 50 wind developers and OEMs already use its platform to support project delivery and operations globally.
