Dajin Heavy Industry and Chiwan Sembawang Engineering have signed a strategic cooperation agreement to accelerate the development of deep-sea offshore wind power and expand global manufacturing capacity.
The companies said the partnership, formalised on 9 July, will focus on offshore wind jacket manufacturing, deep-sea technology collaboration, and international market expansion.
Dajin and Sembawang aim to strengthen China’s capabilities in research, development, and mass production of offshore wind foundations and support infrastructure.
The companies described deep-sea offshore wind as a strategic pillar for the global energy transition and marine economic development.
They said the alliance will enhance localisation of large-scale wind power foundation equipment and bolster China’s offshore wind supply chain.
Dajin and Sembawang also said the collaboration would inject momentum into the global offshore wind industrial ecosystem by combining production capacity, technology innovation and global reach.
The partners said the agreement reflects their long-term commitment to supporting clean energy development and strengthening industrial collaboration across international markets.
