DTEK marks 20 years with new logo

To mark its 20th anniversary, DTEK Group has updated its mission, vision, corporate values and logo in response to global challenges and trends.

Ukraine’s largest private energy company said these changes reflect its core identity and outline its strategic direction for the future.

“Our energy powers life” is the new mission, as DTEK believes energy is more than just electricity; it is the power that helps maintain life even in the most difficult moments.

The new vision, meanwhile, is the foundation for business development: “Forged in Ukraine, we strive to become a regional European leader, a driver of energy security and transformation through the power of our people, international partnerships and advanced technologies,” DTEK said.

The company’s renewed values provide the moral framework that guides it in its activities. These core values are as follows: Ambition, excellence, teamwork, agility, partnership and customer focus.

DTEK said the updated logo, meanwhile, is a “logical continuation” of the company’s transformation.

Chief executive Maxim Timchenko said: “DTEK began as a regional company in Donbas and grew to become a national leader, a pillar and flagship of the country’s energy sector.

“Ahead lies an equally important stage of development. The world is changing faster than ever, and we are evolving with it.

“The past few years have been a period of reflection for us. We’ve taken a fresh look at ourselves, at our place in the life of the country, in every community, family and individual. And this made us realise that what we do is much more than just supplying electricity. DTEK Group protects, restores and supports people’s lives.”
