Ayesa has been appointed to supervise construction of the 1500MW Baltica 2 project in the Polish Baltic Sea.
The scheme will deploy 107 Siemens Gamesa SG 14-222 DD turbines, each rated at 14 MW.
Baltica 2 is being developed by PGE and Orsted about 40 km off the coast between Ustka and Choczewo.
Ayesa Polska will act as owner’s engineer, overseeing turbine, monopile, substation and export-cable installation.
The project includes an onshore grid link to Choczewo substation and a new O&M base in the Port of Ustka.
Advanced installation methods will mitigate noise and protect marine life during piling and cable-laying.
Country manager Artur Majczak said the scheme “is expected to create around 2,500 jobs during construction and operation”.
Baltica 2 is slated to start generating in 2027, supplying power for roughly 2.5 million homes.
Poland targets up to 5.9 GW of offshore wind by 2030, with Baltica 2 a significant contributor.
