The orders include the V162-6.2MW EnVentus wind turbine in various operating modes across several locations in Thüringen.

For its Großvargula wind farm project, Boreas Energie has ordered eight of the turbines in 6.0MW operating mode, totalling 48MW.

It has ordered seven of the same turbine model for its Greußen project, which has a total capacity of 42MW.

For the Bothenheilingen 1 wind farm, which also has a capacity of 42MW, Vestas will provide a further seven of these turbines.

Boreas Energie has also ordered 43MW worth of turbines for its Bothenheilingen 2 project.

For this project, Vestas will provide three V162-6.2 MW turbines and four V162-6.2MW units in 6.0MW operating mode.

All four orders include 20-year service agreements. Turbine delivery is expected to start in the third quarter of 2026 for the first three projects, with commissioning due in the fourth quarter of 2026.

For the Bothenheilingen 2 project, turbine delivery will take place in the fourth quarter of 2026, with commissioning expected in early 2027.
