Eolus Vind has changed its name to Eolus as part of a strategic initiative to strengthen the company’s brand.
The Swedish Companies Registration Office has approved the name change, which aims to reflect the full scope of Eolus’ international operations within the renewable energy sector.
Commenting on the rebranding, Eolus chief executive Per Witalisson (pictured) said: “Eolus was founded in 1990 as a wind power developer in Sweden. Today, we are an international company that develops, realises, and manages projects in wind power, solar power, and energy storage across several markets in Europe and the United States.
“I am therefore very pleased that we can now finally update our company name, making our identity clearer to our stakeholders.”
