CDWE has completed the installation of pin piles at the 1022MW Hai Long Offshore Farm off the coast of Taiwan.
The CSBC-DEME joint venture finished 219 pin piles on the project using the Green Jade heavy lift vessel.
The developers, Mitsui, Northland Power, and Gentari International Renewables, said in a statement: “The successful completion of pin pile installation wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication and expertise of the project team, and the strong support of our partners at CDWE.”
“Next, we remain focused on safely and steadily advancing construction to ensure timely grid connection and power generation,” the developers added.
The Green Jade is the first leavy lift DP3 vessel purpose-built in Taiwan for offshore wind work.
Hai Long comprises the 518MW Hai Long 2 project and the 504MW Hai Long 3, and will feature 73 Siemens Gamesa 14MW turbines.
It is scheduled for commissioning in 2026.
