Vestas has received two orders for wind turbines in Italy with a total capacity of 127MW.
The largest order is for 19 turbines, 14 of which are V136-4.5MW units, while the remaining five are V162-6.4MW units.
This 95MW order, made by Dolomiti Energia Group and IVPC Group, also includes a service agreement.
Turbine delivery is scheduled for the second quarter of 2026, with commissioning expected in the last quarter of 2026.
The other order was made by an undisclosed client and is for five V162-6.4MW turbines totalling 32MW. The deal includes a 25-year service agreement.
These turbines will be delivered in the last quarter of the year and commissioning is expected in the third quarter of 2026.
The orders for the two unnamed wind farm projects form part of Vestas’ Q2 intake.
