The US Supreme Court has dismissed a pair of challenges to the Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners-Iberdrola joint venture 804MW Vineyard Wind 1 array.
The first lawsuit against the wind farm, brought by Rhode Island-based commercial fishery Seafreeze Shoreside, was initially rejected by the US First Circuit Court of Appeals in December.

The Supreme Court dismissed Seafreeze’s appeal on 5 May.
The second challenge from Washington, D.C.-based Responsible Offshore Development Alliance was also initially dismissed by the US First Circuit Court of Appeals in December.
Both lawsuits were supported by a number of interventions from anti-offshore wind groups.
