Steelwind is investing €50m in its factory in Nordenham-Blexen in Germany to expand capacity to meet increasing demand for offshore wind power.
The fabricator’s machines are being expanded and enlarged with the aim of producing monopiles with a diameter of up to 11.5 metres by the second half of 2026.

“These investments will ensure that we can handle the challenging projects of the coming years and further expand our leading position in the market.
“Order books are full until 2030,” stated the company.
