China’s ZTT Group has upgraded its flagship monopile installation vessel to enhance its capabilities in offshore wind projects.
Zhongtian 39’s upgrades include the addition of a DP2 system to ensure precise, anchorless positioning in challenging offshore environments, expanded accommodation for up to 210 crew members and incorporation of a helipad to improve safety and flexibility with rapid crew changes and emergency response.

The Zhongtian 39 vessel is operated by ZTT subsidiary ZTT Submarine Cable & System, which carries out engineering, procurement, construction and installation activities in offshore wind.
