Haizea Wind Group has completed manufacturing one of the first of 50 monopolies it has been contracted to produce for ScottishPower Renewables’ 1400MW East Anglia 3 offshore wind farm.
At around 74 metres long, 10 metres in diameter, and weighing almost 1,500 tonnes, the structure was fresh off the production line at Haizea’s Bilbao facility in the Port of Biscay.

Navantia Seanergies and Windar will manufacture a further 45 monopiles for the offshore wind farm in England.
