Ocean Winds has announced that its 882MW Moray West offshore wind farm has achieved a major milestone, with more than half of the total 60 Siemens Gamesa turbines now installed.
Following the successful delivery of first power in July, its teams continue to make strong progress toward reaching full power by 2025, the developer added.
Once fully operational, the clean energy generated by the Scottish offshore wind farm will add to the 950MW from the neighbouring operational Moray East project.

This will be complemented by the future contributions of 2GW from Caledonia Offshore Wind Farm and 2.3GW the Arven project, both currently under development.
