Cadeler has named the fifth and newest addition to its fleet, Wind Peak.
The jack-up vessel is the “most modern and innovative vessel in the industry,” Cadeler said, and can handle some of the largest wind turbine components in the offshore industry.

It can transport and install seven complete 15MW turbine sets of five sets of 20+MW turbines per load.
The Wind Peak will go straight from the shipyard into commercial operation. Wind Peak’s sister ship Wind Pace will follow from the shipbuilders at COSCO in Qidong, China.
