Cadeler has announced it has signed a contract with Inch Cape Offshore Limited for the installation of 72 Vestas 15MW turbines at 1100MW Inch Cape Offshore wind farm.
The deal is projected to fall within the range of €114m-€130m with work due to commence in the fourth quarter of 2026, said the company.
The project illustrates Cadeler’s commitment to expanding its partner portfolio, while strengthening and diversifying its contract backlog, the marine contractor said.
Located 15km off the East Coast of Scotland in the North Sea, the site is a joint venture by Red Rock Power and ESB and will generate enough energy to power the equivalent of approximately 1.6 million UK households.
Cadeler said will utilise one of its two newbuild M-class installation vessels (pictured) and the overall duration of the project is estimated to be around 249 days.
