NTR has commenced operations across eight sites in Ireland, the UK, France, Spain and Finland, amounting to 269MW of new wind and solar capacity.
The company’s chief executive Rosheen McGuckian said: “Reaching energisation across these eight sites is a great landmark when considering the complexity of achieving this across five countries.
“I am immensely proud and grateful to everyone who contributed to achieving this milestone.
“The dedicated and highly motivated teams behind these assets play a pivotal role in our commitment to delivering the clean energy transition across Europe.”
Murley Wind Farm, a six-turbine site situated in County Tyrone, Northern Ireland, is now fully operational, with a 21.6MW capacity and a purchase agreement with Almac Group.
NTR’s 58.8MW Ockendon solar project, in Essex, England, is now fully energised and located on a sealed landfill site, making the most of land that would otherwise be challenging to repurpose.
Gorey solar farm and Macallian PV array are both in Wexford, Ireland and have a combined capacity of 22.1MW and a power purchase agreement with AIB Group.
Having successfully completed the acquisition of Finnish wind farm Pajuperankangas, the asset is now producing 86.8MW of clean energy.
In France NTR has now fully energised Ferme Eolienne Cruscades and Canet, a six-turbine onshore wind farm near Narbonne, with a capacity of 13.4MW.
In Spain the 45.72MW Colomera and Pinos solar farm, in Granada, is now operational and has a power purchase agreement with packaging producer Huhtamaki.
Also in Spain, in Castile-La Mancha, Spain, the 20.7MW Poblete solar farm is now fully energised and it has a power purchase deal with Holaluz, an electric services company.
