GE Vernova’s offshore wind CEO Jan Kjaersgaard has resigned from his post.
Kjaersgaard, who was president as well as CEO of the offshore wind business, said he decided to step down after “three challenging years”.

He joined GE Renewable Energy in the role of CEO for offshore wind in June 2021, replacing John Lavelle, and has led the division as GE Vernova was spun off from GE.
He thanked GE Vernova, colleagues, customers and business partners.
Kjaersgaard will spend the summer with his family and has not announced plans for the next step in his career.
GE Vernova CEO Vic Abate said: “I am grateful for Jan’s contributions to the offshore wind business and wish him well in his future endeavours.”
