Steelwind Nordenham has produced the last monopile for EnBW’s 960MW He Dreiht offshore wind farm in Germany.
Almost 84,000 tonnes of steel later, production of the structures is coming to an end, Steelwind said.

With diameters of 9.2 metres, lengths of up to 71 metres and weights of up to 1400 tonnes, Steelwind has produced 64 monopiles for the He Dreiht Offshore Wind Farm.
This project will be connected to the grid from the end of 2025 and will provide electricity to support the production of green steel at Steelwind’s parent company Dillinger and Saarstahl.
