Island Green Power (IGP) has appointed Bob Psaradellis (pictured) as chief executive and Steve Bowler as chief financial officer.
IGP has also bolstered its senior leadership team with three internal promotions.
Dave Elvin has been appointed chief development officer, Chandni Ruparelia has been appointed chief operating officer and Alessio Aru has been appointed chief technical officer.
The team will be based in the UK and will lead IGP as it continues to develop its 21.5GW pipeline of grid-secured solar (9GW) and battery (12.5GW) projects.
Ian Lawrie, Colm Killeen and Denis O’Brien founded IGP in 2012.
Lawrie and Killeen will step away from the day-to-day management of the business but will continue to support land identification and strategic growth and will remain significant shareholders and key members of the Board of Directors.
In March 2022, Macquarie Asset Management, part of Macquarie Group (MQG.AX), acquired a 50% stake in IGP.
Island Green Power’s outgoing chief executive Lawrie said: “Since establishing IGP 12 years ago, the company has grown from strength to strength driven by our extremely talented team.
“I am confident that Bob and Steve will build on that solid foundation and that Dave, Chandni, and Alessio will continue IGP’s mission to deliver best in class renewable energy projects.”
Island Green Power incoming chief executive Psaradellis said: “Ian, Colm, and the IGP team have built an incredible company, and I am looking forward to leading IGP through its next phase of growth.
“I cannot wait to work with Steve, Dave, Chandni, Alessio and the talented team at IGP on what the company can achieve next.”
