Global Tech I GmbH has opened the tendering process for the turbine service of its 400MW offshore wind farm in the German North Sea.
The EU-wide tender procedure was launched with the publication of the tender notice and documents. The process includes a qualification phase to identify companies with the required technical and financial capacity, followed by a bidding phase that allows negotiations with the pre-qualified bidders.
The tender, which has a term of 10 years, is divided into three lots – the service and maintenance contract for the turbines, the replacement of large components (nacelles
and rotor blades), and the repair of the main components.
The documents include the pre-qualification paper, the tender conditions and a term sheet describing the basic conditions and principles of the future contracts for the different lots.
The application deadline for the qualification phase is no later than 28 February and the applicants may pose written questions about the tender process until 16 February.
