European Energy has appointed Hilde Bakken as its newest board member.
Bakken brings her “extensive experience” from Statkraft, where she has worked since 2000.
In 2022, she held the position of executive vice president of production and industrial ownership before retiring to dedicate herself fully to board positions.
“I am delighted to welcome Hilde Bakken to our board of directors at European Energy,” said chair of the Board of Directors at European Energy Jens Due Olsen.
“With her extensive management experience at one of the largest energy companies in Europe and her long-standing involvement in various energy company boards, Hilde is a valuable addition to our team.”
Bakken added: “I am grateful to have been offered the opportunity to join the Board of European Energy.
“The company has had an impressive development path, and the prospects going forward are very good.
“Over the past decades I have gained extensive experience in energy businesses growing rapidly in volume and footprint.
“Together we are hopefully able to further develop the company for the period to come.”
