Germany’s Heitkamp Industrial Solutions is installing wind turbines for projects in Turkey totalling 189MW, being developed by its parent company Ronesans Group.
Heitkamp is responsible for the technical and commercial management of the three wind projects, as EPC contractor, with all three expected to enter operation by the end of this year.
Nordex turbines are being supplied for the projects.
In the Sivas region, seven turbines will be installed at the 49MW R3-Sivas 1-2 RES wind farm, while eight turbines have been ordered for the 56MW R3-Corum 1 RES project in Çorum.
The largest of the three orders involves the delivery of 12 turbines with a total output of 84MW for the R3-Malatya 1 RES wind farm in the province of Malatya in eastern Anatolia.

The N163/6.X turbines used, mounted on 113 metre high steel towers with a rotor diameter of 163 metres, are the most powerful turbines currently available in Turkey.
