DP Energy has appointed Stephanie Eason (pictured) as legal counsel and Lachlan Giles as environment and development manager to their expanding operations in Australia.
The Irish developer has an immediate pipeline of projects in Australia including the 700MW Euston Wind Farm near Euston, New South Wales and the 430MW Callide Wind Farm located in the Calliope Range, Queensland
DP Energy is continuing to grow in Australia with a healthy pipeline of project opportunities across a number of states including Queensland, New South Wales and South Australia.
DP Energy Australia have teams situated in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria.
Project opportunities are spread across the onshore wind, solar, BESS, hydrogen and offshore wind sectors.
Further team growth is also expected in 2024 as projects move forward in their development processes.
Eason is a qualified lawyer in the UK and Australia with 12 years’ experience across legal contracting, property law and energy law & regulations.
In her previous role, Stephanie worked for five years as a senior contract manager in centralised energy services, providing support for a team of over 100 sales and operations employees.
In her new role, she will lead DP Energy’s legal frameworks on a range of projects in Australia.
Giles previously worked as a senior environmental planner and has supported the successful delivery of a range of projects within the energy, waste, and infrastructure sectors.
In his new role, he will be responsible for leading the development of environmental planning documentation and obtaining development consent for these projects.
