Windar Renovables has transferred the first transition piece for the 1.4GW East Anglia 3 offshore wind farm to the Port of Aviles for completion, ahead of its shipment to the UK.
The Spanish manufacturer will construct 95 of the 300-ton TPs on order for the project by mid-2025.

Foundation installation for the Scottish Power Renewables-backed windfarm off east England is expected to get underway in 2025 before turbine installation and completion in 2026.
A Windar Renovables spokesman added: “We are proud of this great achievement for the project and such an accomplishment is the result of collaborative efforts between our talented teams and our committed suppliers.”
