Qualitas Energy has acquired a 55% stake in the project rights for the repowering of a wind farm in eastern Germany from European Energy.
In addition to the transfer of project rights, both parties have established a joint development partnership for the repowering of the existing turbines, with European Energy taking charge of the development process.
The objective is to install a capacity of more than 60MW, which would double the current capacity.

Qualitas Energy’s existing portfolio holds 5GW of operating and development energy assets, including 3GW of wind, more than 1GW of solar, 242MW of solar thermal power (CSP), 180MW of renewable natural gas, 63MW of battery capacity and 60MW of hydropower assets across Spain, Germany, the UK, Italy, Poland and Chile.
