Rental equipment specialist Centurion Group has acquired H2M Offshore Accommodations.

Based in the Netherlands, with a location in Denmark, H2M is a global supplier of high-quality offshore accommodation and workspace modules to the offshore wind sector on a rental and sales basis.

H2M’s products are designed for ease of deployment and deliver substantial reductions in weight without any compromise to structural strength, to limit load on platforms whilst providing maximum comfort and security in challenging offshore environments, according to Centurion.

Fernando Assing, chief executive of Centurion Group, said: “This is an exciting and highly transformational acquisition for Centurion.

“H2M’s product offering is complementary to our Accommodation & Modular business line, allowing us to better serve our customers with an expanded and diverse range of premium modular solutions.

“Critically, this acquisition aligns with our ambition to grow our presence in the European renewable energy sector, with H2M having a long and established track record within Europe’s offshore wind projects.

“On behalf of Centurion, I welcome the entire H2M team to the Group and look forward to the future successes we will share.”

Edwin van Zuijlen, managing director of H2M, added: “H2M is pleased to now be part of Centurion.

“Joining a global group like Centurion with access to capital will allow us to grow our rental fleet and infrastructure to serve our existing customers with a broader range accommodation & modular solutions, and enable us to grow in line with our strategic ambitions.

“Our entire team is delighted to be embarking on this next chapter and the opportunities that being part of Centurion will bring.”
