Max Paterson has joined Maersk Broker as Business Development Manager for Renewables.
Based in London, he will focus on the growing renewables market, primarily on the offshore vessel market for fixed and floating offshore wind.
Over a period of 13 years, Max has gained wide-ranging experience from working in various commercial roles for the installation and maintenance vessel owner Seajacks.
With the addition of Paterson’s experience and knowledge, Maersk Broker will further strengthen and develop it’s offering to the renewables market.
At the time of joining Seajacks the company was a new owner and operator of self-propelled jack up vessels (first jack up vessel had just been delivered on to contract).
Paterson said: “I stayed with the company for nearly 13 years, working in various commercial roles.
“Over these years, I became a member of the Senior Management team and helped Seajacks develop into a market leader in the provision of wind farm installation and maintenance vessels, who successfully executed vessel contracts around the world.
“I have been very fortunate to join the offshore wind industry in its early days and have been delighted to be involved in so many pioneering offshore wind projects”.
