GRS, the solar EPC contractor arm of Gransolar Group, has inaugurated the 204MW Edenvale Solar Park in Queensland, Australia.
The company has built the solar plant for Sojitz Corporation and Eneos.
The Edenvale Solar Park inauguration event was attended by a large institutional presence, headed by the regional Minister for Trade and Investment Cameron Dick, reaffirming the authorities’ support for the development of green energy in Queensland.
The PV plant is located in Chinchilla, 300km from Brisbane.
“Edenvale is an important milestone in Gransolar’s successful track record in Australia,” said Gransolar chief operating officer Jordi Vega, who participated in the inauguration ceremony.
“Once again, the synergies created between the business units that make up the group (ISE, GRS and PVH) allow us to make another valuable contribution to decarbonisation in a region as committed to the preservation of the environment as Queensland.”
GRS operates on all five continents and has reached 2.5GW of installed capacity worldwide and has almost 3.5GW under development.
