Ilmatar has commenced commercial electricity production at a 30MW wind farm in Finland.
The Jäkäläkangas wind farm in Karvia has been completed ahead of schedule.

“Construction began in July 2022, and the park was completed ahead of the planned schedule.
“Jäkäläkangas is part of a project comprising four wind farms, all of which are expected to be completed by the end of the year,” said Director of Construction Projects Petri Ainonen.
The Jäkäläkangas wind farm consists of five 6MW Vestas wind turbines.
In line with Ilmatar’s strategy, the Jäkäläkangas wind farm will remain in Ilmatar’s ownership throughout its entire lifecycle.
Technical and commercial management is handled by Ilmatar Service.
