Rosetti Marino has been awarded an EPC contract by Chantiers de l’Atlantique for the construction of the jacket of the electrical substation of the Nordseecluster offshore wind farm being developed by RWE.
The jacket will be installed at site N-3.8 north of the German island of Juist in the North Sea.
The jacket, weighing approximately 2,000 tonnes, constitutes the foundation structure anchored to the seabed of the substation.
The scope of work of the project assigned to Rosetti Marino includes construction engineering, material procurement, construction works and load out for delivery.
Bertrand Paquet, senior vice president & chief purchasing officer of Chantiers de l’Atlantique, said: “This new contract strengthens the partnership we have started with Rosetti Marino.
“We are confident in Rosetti Marino’s ability to face this new challenge.”
Activities will begin shortly and are expected to be completed by summer 2025.
