Fred Olsen Windcarrier vessel Bold Tern (pictured) has now installed 50% of the turbines at the 600MW Changfang & Xidao offshore project in Taiwan.
The WITV is aiming to finish all turbine installation by the end of the year.
Located off the coast of Changhua County, once completed the wind farm will comprise 62 V174 9.6MW offshore wind turbines supplied by Vestas.

The V174 9.6MW model is currently the largest commercial machine in the APAC market with typhoon certification.
