Vestas has signed a conditional agreement for the up to 1200MW offshore Baltic Power project in Poland.
The development is a joint venture between PKN ORLEN and Northland Power. The site is 22.5km from shore and will feature 12MW-plus turbines on monopile foundations at depths of 33 metres to 45 metres.

Once the project achieves commercial operations, it is expected to be operational for over 25 years.
When the conditional agreement translates into a firm and unconditional order, Vestas will disclose this in a company announcement in accordance with the company’s disclosure policy.
